Second Amendment March Update
Just an update on what we've been up to these past couple of months...
We now have around 20 state coordinators appointed who are all working hard to organize volunteers in their states, setting up town hall meetings, spreading the word about Second Amendment March, and planning their state rally. These coordinators also spend their time doing interviews and writing articles about the second amendment and the march. They are an integral part to the organization, and their contributions are very much appreciated.
We also have a college coordinator, a filmmaker, an advertising coordinator, and other valuable folks stepping up to take on very important tasks.
We still need YOU! There is much work to be done, and a little less than eight months to do it. Watch for upcoming oppportunities this month as we start to form specialized committees for various areas such as fundrasing, advertising, event planning, etc. Those committee descriptions are being written right now.
We just received our non-profit status, and we are crafting letters to obtain support from companies with a vested interest in the survival of the second amendment.
We are also working on identifying and booking speakers for our national march, in addition to planning all of the logistics of that event.
We have been traveling to and speaking at town hall meetings across the U.S., spreading the word about the rally and the importance of speaking up now.
Two representatives from Second Amendment March will be attending the 912 Tea Party in Washington, D.C. next month. In addition to making valuable contacts there we will also be attending a grassroots training session put on by the Leadership Institute.
